I have been playing soccer for 9 years and club for 5 of those years. I started out playing for the CCV Stars in both recreational and club. This experience has been a key part of my journey through soccer and has taught me to always work hard and keep my head up. On my previous team, I was captain and took pride in my effort during drills and positive attitude towards my teammates. I hope to continue this mindset as I develop with Surf. In my experience, I’ve played defense, midfield, and wing. One of my main strengths on the field is speed which allows me to win the ball in a one on one race down the line. I partake in track practice after school to keep my agility skills sharp and enjoy running during the summer. My main goal for this year however, is to improve my IQ on the field and my ability to think strategically. I’m confident that the diligent and efficient coaching at Surf will help me to achieve this goal. In the future, I would like to attend U of A and hopefully play soccer there while studying to become a veterinarian. I am very grateful to be apart of such an amazing club and I can’t wait to continue with it. Thank you for your time!
